The recall of millions of cars by Toyota during January may have affected the price of used cars . The recall affected thousands of car finance customers, and included models such as the Prius, Avensis and Yaris . The move may have strongly affected the resale price of Toyota cars .
The car sales magazine and website Exchange and Mart published figures regarding the Toyota Prius which reflect strong market movement in favour. The magazine commented: 'Activity is beginning to rise again, making this a good time to bag a possible bargain. By the end of last month Toyota's popular hybrid was creeping back up the popularity table, but searches were still well below its usual standard.'
The digital director for Exchange and Mart, Dera Healy, reportedly continued: 'Early signs are that the demise of the Toyota Prius is not necessarily nigh. Search activity is creeping back up, suggesting that buyers haven't written it off completely. In fact, now could be a good time to buy because prices have fallen a little.'
