Car company Volkswagen will launch a new fixed-price service plan to help keep customers part of their network. Retail car buyers who sign up before the end of 2010 will pay just £250 for a 3-year plan. The cover, which includes all VW vehicles, lasts for 30,000 miles and can be transferred to subsequent owners.

The plan is operated by VW Finance, but will be kept open for all car buyers even if they don’t use VW motor finance . However, for car finance customers, VW can integrate the fee into monthly finance payments.

Those who buy used and those who already own a VW can become part of the scheme through VW Finance for just £299. The plans follow the regular service schedule for the cars .
