One car dealer has reported a rise in sales, giving hope that the dealership industry could be recovering. Henson Motor Group based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne reported new car sales running up to January rallying by 24 per cent on figures from the year before. The dealership sold 376 new vehicles in the three months, a record performance.
The manager of Henson Motor Group, Ross Hall, said that consumer confidence was the reason behind the boom. He reportedly commented: Towards the end of 2009, it became apparent that while certain sectors were hurting due to the recession, the picture was not all doom and gloom.
Furthermore, the dealership even aims to help car buyers with poor credit ratings . Sister company Refused Car Finance are reportedly well placed to arrange credit for buyers refused by oher car finance lenders .
