Held on May 18, members of the Association of Car Fleet Operator (ACFO) will descend upon the Oxford based BMW Mini manufacturing plant to gain valuable insight into establishing a cost-effective fleet for both small and large scale businesses.
The annual conference and general meeting will focus predominately on salary sacrifice schemes, parking issues and the true cost of road accidents . Considered the UK's voice in car fleet decision making, this year's event will commence with presentations from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue services highlighting the reasons and effects behind work-related motor incidents .
The director of ACFO – Stewart Whyte has reportedly commended the Conference's line-up of guest speakers and presentations: Once again a top quality and highly relevant Conference program has been compiled, which should be of interest to all fleet decision-makers whether they are professional fleet managers or have a background in HR, finance or procurement.
The popular event allows ACFO members and attending guests the opportunity to aid the overall effectiveness and operations of their business' fleet through the questioning and advice of industry experts. Representatives of Deloitte : Nathan Male and Mike Moore will be of particular interest to businesses with an expected presentation on the availability of salary sacrifice schemes to individual companies.
Interest in car finance and salary-based schemes are becoming increasingly popular, with many industries evaluating the integration of such programs for the financial benefit of their employees during times of debt and economic hardship.
