VW Polo wins car of the year award

According to international car finance news reports, the Volkswagen Polo has won the European Car of the year Award. The Toyota iQ came in a close second, whilst third place went to the Vauxhall Astra Hatchback. Fourth went to the Skoda Yeti. Several other cars such as the Mercedes, Peugeot and Citroen completed the shortlist of seven.

The VW Polo has reached its fifth generation and features high quality, soft touch plastics and subtle aluminium detailing. The VW Polo has never won the award before, but VW has been shortlisted 11 times for its cars .
