GBP30 million investment by electric car company

A recently formed motor company called Liberty Electric Cars Ltd. is putting substantial investment into re-engineering 4x4s and luxury vehicles with electric systems.

The electric drivetrain platform, which Liberty will invest £30 million into, may also integrate with emerging technologies. The company are planning to produce tens of thousands of vehicles per annum, creating approximately 250 new jobs in the technology and manufacturing industry.

Liberty comprise an experienced management team including various experts in the car and car finance industries. Prices of the electric vehicles are expected to be between £95,000 and £125,000.
