Mon, 31 Mar 2008

According to a recent press report, UK car finance company ACF car finance have decided to withdraw from the motorbike and bike finance markets.

The company reportedly made the decision following low sales of motorbikes, with the bike finance arm of the business therefore also rendered non-profitable. ACF have decided to stick doing what they do best, which is selling vehicles and vehicle finance .

The sales and marketing director of ACF Car Finance, Norman Beaumont, was reported in the car finance news as commenting: "It is important for us to focus our energy on the core business and the market place that we understand inside out, cars and car finance."

The group director of operations at the firm, David Challinor, reportedly said: "The decision was made earlier this week and we’ve endeavoured to communicate the message as quickly as possible to ensure everyone is made aware of the situation."
