UK car finance provider, ACF Car Finance, has announced plans to move out of the bike finance and bike sales markets .
The company said its strategic business decision was taken as a result of low volume sales in the bike market, making the bike finance area of the business "unprofitable", while adding that the move will allow the company to focus all of their resources into serving new and existing customers with car credit and sales options.
Norman Beaumont, the groups sales and marketing director, commented: "It is important for us to focus our energy on the core business and the market place that we understand inside out, cars and car finance ."
David Challinor, director of operations at ACF, added: "The decision was made earlier this week and weve endeavoured to communicate the message as quickly as possible to ensure everyone is made aware of the situation."
ACF Car Finance began trading in the car sales and car loan market back in 2001 and has since seen their customer base rise considerably thanks to its nine UK branches.
