Nationwide car finance inventive

Financial services company Nationwide have created a new idea to entice motorists looking for car finance loans .

Those drivers seeking a personal loan for car finance purposes could benefit from free petrol for a year from Nationwide. The building society said that two out of five of their personal loan customers used the money to finance a new car purchase.

Fuel prices are a major concern for car drivers, with prices per litres exceeding £1.30 in some places. New customers taking out a loan with Nationwide will be entered into a draw to win free petrol for a year.

However, car finance experts warn that more competitive rates could be available elsewhere, despite the eye-catching offer.
