Car warranty scheme from Tesco

Mon, 28 Jul 2008

Tesco Personal Finance, the financial services arm of the giant supermarket group, have expanded their car insurance products with the offer of a new type of warranty scheme.

Known as Tesco Car Warranty, the scheme will help car buyers to spread the cost of car ownership by only paying out on some repairs. In order to be eligible for Tesco Car Warranty, a car must be under ten years old and have less than 100,000 miles on the clock.

The warranty is a type of car insurance policy that covers the cost of labour for repairing the car. The customer can choose their own mechanic. More and more vehicle owners are thought to be keeping their cars for longer rather than trading for a new car and car finance . In this climate, Tesco Car Warranty could be very valuable for motorists .
