Online auction site will partner with comparison engine Insurancewide.com to provide an insurance price comparison service for those people using the eBayMotors.co.uk pages.

The eBayMotors community has great significance in the car market, and is widely regarded as being the foremost online auction venue for cars . Now, consumers browsing the site will have access to the Insurancewide service.

The alliance will further strengthen the price comparison sector of the motor insurance market. The head of eBayMotors.co.uk, Jody Ford, made it clear that the tie-up was a step forward for their customers. The chief exec of Insurancewide.com, James Harrison, agreed that it was a logical step for eBay.

The UK car market was recently described as strong for buyer, with personal loan rates going down and car finance available on multiple car options.
