Last month’s rush on new 57
number plates is beginning to calm down now, meaning new and

car deals all over the market.
Car dealers on the forecourt and the internet are slashing
their prices, meaning some seriously competitive
deals on offer.
Of particular
interest are deals from
VW and Ford. The VW Golf GTI currently on offer from Motorpoint
is a Dutch import that could
save thousands on the list price. The
cars are listed as being European spec, which should be nearly
identical to UK spec.
A new Ford
Focus is also on the market, providing a deal for a sensible
family hatchback. The Ford Focus Ghia is offered for under £13,000.
The Focus is expected to receive a facelift at the end of this
year, so deals on the current range could be even better.
