The largest maker of luxury cars in the world, BMW AG (Bayerische Motoren Werke), is thinking about purchasing another automobile brand . Another option for the company may be to create an entirely new brand.
The chief financial officer of the firm, Michael Ganal, reportedly commented: We're thinking about everything. The Japanese have had some success building up a brand from scratch and there are other companies that have bought brands. There are examples of both.
BMW also owns Rolls-Royce and Mini . The firm are intending to massively cut down on expenditure over the next five year period. Whatever BMW choose to do, the chief executive officer of BMW is clear that any new division will have to make a positive contribution to earnings.
Many UK car buyers seek car finance to purchase a luxury car such as a BMW.
