According to fresh research by financial services company American Express, many motorists could be making savings on their car insurance . The study suggests that shopping around for car insurance and making certain that the right cover is in place could make all the difference.
Furthermore, American Express claimed that people who protect their no-claims bonus and compare like-for-like insurance policies could be in for even greater savings. Driving a car is an expensive necessity for many people, with the cost of vehicles, car finance, fuel, tax and running costs all adding up.
The marketing manger at American Express Motor Insurance, Joanne Field, reportedly commented: The cost of motoring seems to rise year-on-year and whilst there is little motorists can do to cut the cost of fuel or road tax, insurance is one area where real savings can be made.
