The Hyundai Automotive Group has recently announced that they will now hire expatriated in an attempt to boost global car sales. The news comes following previous reports of falling profits and low productivity from the company .
The Hyundai Group is seeking to hire ten expatriates to take over key, major positions within the firm, who are based in Seoul . The non-Koreans will become part of offshore units in overseas markets.
The Hyundai Group own both Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors, who are the first and second largest car manufacturers in South Korea. As well as foreign workers who are living in the country, foreign University students could also be qualified for a job when they graduate.
Hyundai have been hampered by currency fluctuations and falling motor vehicle sales. From a July peak of 3.2 per cent, the company now has less than 2 per cent of US market share .
