A new online guide to car finance created by the Finance and Leasing Association (FLA) could be useful for car buyers looking for a new vehicle . The new initiative by the FLA comes following extensive research carried out last year, that indicated reasons behind declining dealer motor finance .
The Director General of the FLA, Martin Hall, had the following to say on the matter: "We are launching this new online resource to help consumers understand the breadth of finance options available to them. Our research found that there is an information gap which we hope the website will go someway to filling. We are not looking for the new site to become a comprehensive guide to buying a car - there are plenty of sites that do that but provide consumers with an impartial, informative and simple to use source of advice and information on financing their car ."
The site includes a finance decider, with the aim of letting the consumer know which type of car finance would suit them best. The site will also focus on consumer protection, and provide car finance checks.
The new site was launched at the annual Motor Finance Convention on the 9th November. The website will be hosted at financingyourcar.org.uk
